What exactly is a Peel Monkey wall decal?

Peel Monkey decals are made of an ultra-thin, self-adhesive vinyl, so you don’t need any glue. The finished product gives the appearance of a custom paint job, without the expensive cost, or time associated with it.

What’s all included with a Peel Monkey wall decal?

Your order will be produced, boxed, and shipped to you; inclusive of all the pieces and colors for your vinyl wall decal, instructions, as well as a squeegee to help you install your decal. Please note that once installation is complete you will generally receive OOOOs, AAAHs, and high fives from your peers and family, this is a normal reaction.

Where do you get your designs?

Our whole collection is designed in house, by our fabulous designers. The same designers are more than happy to provide you or your company with a custom decal as well, if you’d like of course. Send us an email to custom@peelmonkey.com, tell us what you’d like, and we’ll send you a price quote.

Where can I purchase Peel Monkey product?

All your purchases can be made via the internet, as we are an internet based store. With that said, we offer people living in the Edmonton area (or those driving through) the ability to come pick it up at our location to save on shipping costs. Peel Monkey operates within the office of Pure Vision, our parent company. Located at #129 – 65 Chippewa Road, Sherwood Park. Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 5:00.

How long does it take to deliver?

Items are typically cut, boxed, shipped, or ready for pick up within three to five business days.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs are determined by your desired shipping location. Costing is provided within the check out area of our site, prior to purchase confirmation.

What about the surface? What works, what doesn’t, etc.?

Other than textured paint, stucco, brick, cardboard, plaster, porous cement, or fabrics, you’re pretty much good to go! If your surface is freshly painted, you’ll have to be patient and wait 2 weeks for your paint to cure prior to applying you decal. This will help to ensure that your decal will stick. The best surfaces are smooth finished surfaces such as mirrors, walls, plastic, glass, plexiglass, arborite, metals, and finished wood.

How do I remove the decal?

Everyone has the tools at hand….your hands! Ok, bad joke, but seriously, to remove, simply use your fingernails to get it started and slowly pull away at a 45 degree angle from the wall. You could also use a blow dryer to slowly heat the decal and pull away in the same fashion.

Can I re-stick my wall decal?

Sorry, no dice.

How long will Peel Monkey decals last?

Our decals can last for three to five years indoors, or two to three outdoors, depending on conditions. Peel Monkey decals are kind of like vampires – they’re not really big fans of direct sunlight, so they’ll last longer in the shade.

Can I put my decal in a bathroom?

For sure! Just make sure the walls are clear of any moisture before you install the decal.

Do you take returns?

Due to the nature of our product, Peel Monkey does not offer returns with refunds on our products. We’re happy to provide exchanges on any unopened, undamaged goods in perfect condition within 14 days of receipt, with the exception of custom products. All custom product sales are final, are non-exchangeable and are non-refundable. Peel Monkey does not offer credit for shipping and handling charges on any exchanged goods. Shipping will be the responsibility of the customer.
